According to the Superintendencia Panameña de Bancos, the supervising body for banks Panama, the average interest rate for home loans is 5.84%  in June 2023, however, as a foreigner you can expect a tax rate of up to 8%.

Panama residents may qualify for as little as 10% downpayment. Most properties require a 30 - 50% as a downpayment. We do have properties that offer direct developer financing, so you can contact about that.
